Property building in Idlewyld Inn & Spa
We stayed at the Idyllwild Inn for one evening while passing through Central Ontario. We very much enjoyed the history of the building and appreciated the efforts to restore it to his former grandeur. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the accommodations were quite nice. It was very convenient to have a fine restaurant in the building along with breakfast being provided as part of the overnight room rate. This inn is located in very reasonable proximity to some of the quaint and upcoming areas of downtown London in addition to being in proximity to several of the historic sites that we visited on the day that we departed. I would like to commend the front desk staff for addressing a concern that I had in a very forthright and respectful manner. We would recommend the Idlewild Inn to our friends and family and will return if we are back in the London area in the future.

The Idlewyld Inn & Spa is certainly a very beautiful place to stay. It is in a terrific location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there April 30/24, and stayed overnight. Our Server was Katherine, and she was superb. So were our meals, and our room! The next morning we had a great breakfast. Michelle and Melissa made us feel very comfortable. After checking out, we went to an amazing show at The Grand Theatre, which IS only 2km away.

This is a beautiful inn, there is amazing dining and breakfast, the rooms are wonderfully comfortable. The bed is soft and the shower is great. For people used to air conditioning it is heaven. Lots of hotels here do not have it. The location is wonderful. It is in the nice, old part of town and it is very easy to get to the interstate. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.

The old world atmosphere, the exceptional kindness and competence of the staff, the quality of the meals and the high quality shower. The nice view from our room. The superb outdoor dining options. The beautiful front gardens. The excellent location in a safe area of town and pleasant community, but just minutes away by Uber from the centre and the university.
